Headlight bulb removal in L2501

Low beam light burned out in my 2015 L2501. Tried to remove the bulb but cannot get it out - it is covered with rubber sleeve/boot and while manual simply saying 'remove the rubber boot' I do not want to risk ripping it by pulling too hard.

How do I take the bulb out?

They are not fun. Roll the rubber boot back so it is inside out. Twist the light socket a small amount and it will come out . Pay attention to the tab on the bulb. It will only go in one way. Install the new bulb and line up the three tabs on the socket push in and turn. Be sure all three tabs lock in. I use a light on my head as it is hard to see under the hood. Good Luck Lance
