im having troubles with the trasnmission of the L5040 GST 4wd tractor it runs normaly for a half hour then it stops and doesn,t move more. i dont have the service manual or the owners manual and i have change the oil transmission filter and the oil. but still doing the same what else can i do here in mexico doesent have this model and need to start for something, hope someone can give me some advise.

If the PTO stays running when it stops, that would eliminate a mechanical clutch issue.
After that your getting into some complicated systems, I would suggest you get the WSM as it will have all the testing procedure.
Could be the hydraulic feed to the GST control, gear selector issue, or could be a internal failure or malfunction of a valve or part.
Be sure which model you have:
L5040 WSM P/N 9Y121-00052
L5040-3 WSM P/N 9Y111-03692

That unit has an independent PTO so if that and others are functioning I would suspect that the transmission clutch pack would have some weak piston sealing rings? Without pressure testing, this is pure speculation!
