Changed seal and hub on m6060. Bearings were in great shape, not leaking any fuild.
Yet, it has a grinding sound every rotation. It's not all the way around, but at one spot.
Kinda wondering if shems or not enough shems can cause rubbing?

There is no HUB on this tractor.
So I'm curious what you replaced?
Is this what you were working on?
And if so what parts did you replace?
And why?
And yes if you replaced any of the cases or axle you would need to follow the WSM on how to shim the gears.

I replaced part 090 and 80. Looking at the diagram, the shem i had was to small. There are 2 shems, one behind each bearing. When i took it apart, shem 070 was ground to bits and what i called a hub, 090, was ground really bad, so i replaced it

Do you have the WSM (aka service manual)?
