great bend 651 hydraulic filter

Hi im a newb to tractors recently acquired a 1988 L 2850 with a backhoe and loader, in search of some info wondering whats the filter # for a 651 great bend 3 point backhoe attachment also would like a recommendation for hydraulic fluid for same attachment would there be any issues mixing the stuff.

Can't help you with the filter. Most oils can be mixed without any problems. If you want the best fluid available go with Amsoil universal tractor trans/hyd fluid. If you don't care about having the best performance then fluid from Walmart or TSC will work fine. It all boils down to how well you want it to perform in all weather conditions.
