I have a T1760 with a 48" deck, and a 17hp liquid cooled Kawasaki engine. It runs great and mows nice too, but when I go up a very slight incline or got throught normal height grass the motor gets slower and slower so I have to slow down to let it catch-up. I have a friend thats a mechanic and he seems to think that the govenor inside the engine is broken, and it appears that someone put a spring on the carb to hold the rpms back. Has anyone heard of this problem before.
