Hi guys

I am a bit new to the forum and based in the UK where we don’t seem to have so many Kubota users and experts ( although I stand to be corrected). My B7200 HST D sits outside under a tarp all winter and this spring I went to start it and the glow plug light wasn’t coming on. It’s always been a bit touch and go whether or not it was working. I managed to start it and it ran fine. Now when I try to start it I have no ignition lights. I have had a look at the ignition switch and there may be a loose connection. I have ordered a new one and a new glow plug relay but without a wiring diagram I’m a bit nervous about proceeding. I’m not sure where all the fuses and wires should be! Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Re: Glowpug issues

Do you have mice over there? And cold weather? If it were here in the Midwest, my first guess on something sitting all winter with a tarp over it would be that mice feasted on some wiring. I'd probably check all my wiring first. But I am no expert, so don't listen to me!

Hi All

Got it sorted. Ended up replacing the key switch and the glow plug indicator, but the main problem was corrosion and broken leads. Some wires had come loose and some were so corroded that they wouldn’t work under load. Thanks for help with circuit diagrams, couldn’t have done it without your help.

Glad you got it fixed and thank you for reporting back what the root cause was.
