Many years ago I bought a new GF1800 and it came with a TG2760 snowblower that had a subframe that attached to the tractor much like the mower. Years later after I sold this unit I am again searching for a blower. I now have a 2008 model GF and want to purchase a blower for it. The Gf5225 comes with a quick hitch (female end) What is more cost effective. To buy the male quick hitch kit or the subframe . Will this subframe fit the GF5225. I don't plan on buying any more implements for my tractor so it seems the subframe makes more sense. I also need the male portion of the PTO although it seems I can use the mower shaft (I think) These blowers are hard to come by used so I need to understand the costs involved once I find one.
