Hi Folks,

I've been looking and looking but not having any luck, maybe somebody can help out. I've got the RCK54D-26BX mower deck and it has the stock blades on it. I would like to get a set of mulching blades for it. I've had Gator blades for other machines and was pretty happy with them. Damned if I can figure out what blades will fit. According to the manual the blades are 474mm or 18.7" long; no part number of course, and I can't seem to figure out if any of the Gator blades will work. Any help would be great, thanks!

I had that issue with my Z121s, till I managed to find the mower deck on the Kubota site and got the part number for my blades. I thinks it's the wild card option when searching your equipment model number.

Once I got kubotas part number for my blades, a quick Google search got me the correct gator blades

Daren’s a lot smarter than I am, but even I figured out the right Gator number. I think I did the same as him; crossed my Kubota number to a Gator number.
Just sharpened mine the other day. They’re actually more stout than the stock Kubota blades.

Please verify for yourself but I came up with Oregon part number 396-812 for the gator blade g6 for your deck. That was using messicks parts page for the Kubota number then using the Oregon website to cross the number.

Just ordered blades for my 0 turn from ASC, Oregon Gator Blades. 14 bucks each.

You can go to their website to the blade section go to the dropdown and enter your blade length, blade width and hole diameter and the correct blade will come up on the page. I was looking, they have lots of Kubota blades. All they sell is Oregon blades. Been buying my blades there for years. I typically eat a set every year, sandy soil.

You can match by size, just measure your current blades corner to opposite corner (length), and measure the spindle bolt hole size. Verify cut rotation, match to a corresponding gator blade.

Muttcat - fordtech’s part number sounds familiar for my 54” deck also, but I got them a while back.

My issue with Gator blades is, you have to cut the grass a lot and keep it relatively short or the Gator blades don't do a good cutting job and I despise mowing lawns and I mow some serious acerage so I tend to let it grow up and then cut it. In my case I just use the Oregon high lift blades for my M60 Tank.

I've had the Gator blades before and wasn't happy with the results.

I trained on the M60A3. Gunner on M48A5 for two years. Loved it.

The OEM blades are ok, but I wind up with windrows of clippings which persist all season. My first Toro had a mulching deck, but that thing would clog like crazy even with dry grass. Soooo, I'm going Gator and see how it turns out with the side discharge deck.
