Hello! I’m borrowing a friends Kubota and I’m feeling like the gas and brake are stickier than they should be and there is a load higher pitch noise that happenss at any speed, going forward or backwards. I don’t know how to describe it except it feels and sounds like something is trying to stop yu from going forward or backwards, Eve though I can still go pretty fast, the pedal is sticky and there is a higher pitch noise. Maybe it’s normal, I don’t know this tractors baseline but wondering if there is any thing I can check/trouble shoot? I’m not knowledgeable on tractor repair/maintenance but have driven quite a few.
Thank you!!

It's not a gas pedal it's and HST pedal.
Check the hydraulic level.
And like Matt said make sure the parking brake is not on.

What model is the tractor? I see your equipment profile lists an LA402, which is actually a front end loader (FEL) model number. The tractor model number is on the hood, somewhat obscured by the FEL. My guess is it’s a B series? I know the hydrostatic pedal on my B2601 takes more force to operate than my L3830, although I think that’s just how they built it.

Bingo.

It is reasons such as this that prevent me from ever loaning any of my equiment (or borrowing that of others).
