G1900 oil question

I am a newbie to this site. Just purchased a G1900 and was wondering what weight engine oil is used? I am in North Carolina.

Also does anyone have a wix oil filter part number?

I would use Rotella 15w-40 or Delo 15w-40 Diesel oil. Myself, I use 10w-40 or 20w-50 Valvoline or Napa that is made by Valvoline. I've never worried about it being diesel rated. I know it is better than what it is marked for. We have a 1981 Isuzu diesel that has over 250,000 on it that hasn't had any more done to it than a timing belt and one valve adjustment. All it has had is 10w-40 Valvoline. It is clean inside and still runs like it is new. Oh, I forgot. It should have died 200,000 mile ago because it didn't have some fancy synthetic in it.
