Hi All,
So with the advice on my last problem with my tractor wanting to stall on hills I bled the fuel line and now I'm going to change the filter. I have a L5450 and not sure if the bowl holding the fuel filter unscrews from the top portion or do I have to hold the top part and then unscrew the bottom part. I tried both and it's not budging. Any help would be grately appriciated.

Thanks.

Neither, unscrew the ring nothing else need to turn.

Here is a parts view of what your dealing with.

And you might want to change your tractor type in your profile.;)

Install the new filter, thread ring but leave loose, start tractor and let it run, allow all the air to release as the fuel begins to spill out of the bowl and THEN tighten the ring.

Otherwise you will need to bleed the injectors if you allow the pump to get air.

You 'bled' the line but you did not clean the tank, did you?
