Front 3 point B4200

Further to my post about alternative mower decks, is it possible to fit a 3 point to the front end of the B4200?

In assuming ssqa is expensive, I do fancy the idea of self build, I am capable of such things. I don't have a secondary hydraulic take off though so that's something I'd need advice on, ie where to tap into the original system. There I a tap under the front of the seat with a blanking plug, I assume there?

I've just had a look at the tractor, there's no way I could get a drive shaft from the mid pto to a front mower deck past the front axle

You can, it has to be real low and attached in front of and behind the axle
There was a stock kit to run a snowblower off the front years ago.
As far as a front three point you would have to make it up as Kubota never had that option for these models.

What you really want is an F series Kubota.

I think the earlier responses answer your front 3pt/PTO question. If you want a front mower, a different tractor, as @North Idaho Wolfman suggested, is called for.

In an earlier post you mentioned a mid-mount mower as an option . I think this would be more practical if you're going to keep your existing tractor. There was a 44" mid-mount mower available, RC44-42, for the B4200. While the chance of finding one of these in serviceable condition is pretty slim, you might be able to adapt another model.

My apologies for not replying sooner, I've only just seen your message. Thank you for your info, they are impossible to find here in France.
I could probably adapt if I could get hold of the linkage for the RC 44 42 / B4200.
