found better match for orange

i had bought kubota #2 orange for my 94 2350.looked like a pumpkin. i got
van sickle brand from attwod as the dealer had to order 12 cans at 11.50
a can. i went back to atwoods and bought ac 453-70,alis chambler orange
and it is so close you have to stare hard to see difference. hope this helps
others as i had to get several different tractor oranges before i got it
right. keith. ps chevy orange was to dark for mine. funny thing mine was
darker than most all the ones i tried. not faded bad at all.

Thanks for the tip on this I'm doing some repainting on my 1979 B7100 and have an unopened can of Van Sickle Kubot #2 orange so maybe I'll take it back and get the Alis Chalmers orange for a better match for this old tractor.

I wonder how Hitachi's "Taxi Cab Yellow" would match, It is orange almost like Kubota and it is Japanese as well. Could Go to a John Deere dealer and pick a can of JD / Hitachi paint and try it.

Acrylic enamel is $38 per quart..........makes up nearly 1/2 gallon.
Hardner is $20 per pint, reducer is is about $20 per gallon.
