I hooked up my FM62 WoodMaxx Flail mower to my quick attach and it went really well. Before I purchased the WoodMaxx I contacted them to make sure it was quick hitch adaptable. They said it was and was one of the reasons I purchased it.
Since I had to move some things around In my shed I thought I’d remove it go and rearrange the other stuff to make room. When I tried to take it off, the bracket where your top link attaches hits the bolts on the center lift hook on the quick attach and won’t allow it to drop down. I have to remove the bolts that hold the center hook and either rock it back or put a piece of wood under the mower to tilt it back. Any suggestions? 7A87D1F2-F02D-4CDB-ACFE-4A12368304D9.jpeg

I’ve thought of trying to make the bolts for the hook as short as possible to be able to go between the two brackets. Or an adjustable top link.

option #1. cut off 1/4" to 3/8" of the front of the sides that are hitting the bolts and nuts
option #2, file the slotted holes closer to the front
option #3, send picture to whomever said it'd fit.....
With all the complaints about quick hitches NOT being compatible , I'm glad I never got any.

Use pins rather than bolts, adjust the top link in, or get a hydraulic top link.
Thanks for such a great idea. The pins would be ideal. I have a bush hog that I also use in the woods so I still wanted it to work for that without any disassemble. It seems like a simple fix to me but just needed a little experience wisdom like yours to rearrange my brain. Thanks
