Folks,
New member here (about a month) and new used Kubota owner (B7500 HST).

The question centers around fluid analysis and what makes sense. I dropped most fluids (oil, FWD) and planning on the HST maybe by the end of this season (unit had 382 hours on it at purchase (4/29/10)) - the HST delay mainly due to the fact that it looks almost invisible on the dipstick.

I figure getting the crankcase oil that came with it analyzed doesn't make much sense, since I don't know the brand nor the hours on it (I captured a sample, tho). I *am* planning on getting this first oil (that *I* put in) analyzed, as I know the brand, weight and hours.

I am curious as to the collective wisdom of the folks out here as to the usefulness of fluid analysis (and recommended labs) - as this seems (on the surface) as a good source of 'insight' into the innards of our Kubotas. But does this include *all* fluids or is there a priority of importance on this approach.

Suggestions, comments and wisdom respectfully requested.

Thanks,
