Made this years ago. It came out of mothballs today and saved me an awful lot of work. Similar augers can be found in stores.

Do you have a 3rd function to hook up hydraulics? How does that mount to the bucket?

That looks just like fence corner post anchors we use and it takes a man on each end of a bar to screw them into ground.
My wife bought a set of three of those augers from Amazon. I was amazed at the different things you can do with them. We do a lot of raised bed gardens and I mix the dirt in a large dump bed cart. Normally I used one of those tiny two stroke rototillers in the cart. For the most part, that was like trying to screw a Cougar in a phone booth. This little drill auger took little effort and did an outstanding job.
It started life (at least I think it did) as an anchor for office trailers. There were a bunch of them in our warehouse. It was modified a bit and a rod coupling was welded on the top so the drill has flats to grab. It's a very useful tool for planting. Depending upon what's encountered a side handle is required sometimes.
The original application was to loosen up the fill/soil under our basement slab so I could install a Radon system. The directions were to remove about a 5-gallon bucket full of fill from under the slab to create an air space. This had to be done through a 4-1/2" hole I cored in the slab. The auger was a better approach than a digging iron and it allowed reaching to the sides to loosen the material. Removal was done by scooping big pieces with my hand and smaller ones with the shop vac.
