Bought a 5' box scraper at Tractor Supply on Saturday, hooked it to the Tractor yesterday morning and gave my 450' driveway a face-lift. Once I broke through the frozen top inch, this thing just flat out tore into my driveway. Left the tractor in low gear, running about 1200 rpm, and the results are unbelievable compared to my old technique of taking the tailgate off the utility trailer, parking a garden tractor on it and dragging it up and down the driveway with a chain and my ATV. I could have bought a brand name box scraper but for just my driveway once or twice a year, this will be fine. It is great to have a tractor again!!

Keep your RPM up around 1700-1800 during the break-in period. That way you won't load it up inadvertently when the drag catches on something.

HAVE FUN!

"Keep your RPM up around 1700-1800 during the break-in period."

I'd say keep the RPM in this range all the time. If you are traveling too fast with this RPM while doing work, shift to a lower gear.

Lugging, (low RPM) is not good for your diesel engine.
