I've been looking for quite a while gaining and gathering information for my first Kubota tractor purchase. I had been leaving for a new b2601 but happened across a used b2650. It has a FEL (pin on) as well as a 60" mmm. This is a 2014 model b2650 with less than 120 hours and they are asking less than $16,000. Good deal or no? I looked at it, drove it and worked everything that had a button and everything seemed to function in my inexperienced eyes.

That machine is about $22,500 New before any dealer discounts or rebates.
$16k sounds good, but you are the eyes and ears for the purchase.
Are you buying from a dealer? Any warranty left on the machine?
I think the B series is a fine tractor, I have one. But I bought my B2320 with FEL box blade and mower for less than $16k
To me it sounds very good. But I'm just one happy Kubota owner and there are many here. Good luck.

Yes, it's from a dealer. There is 1yr left on powertrain and base warranty expires 12/16. It looks good to me, sounded good, started up just fine. The dealer knows the individual who traded it in for a larger machine.

Thank you for your input!

Sounds like a good deal to me. I bought a new B2650 back in August (Just under $23K with QA loader, 60" bucket, 60" box scraper and 58" RTR tiller - including tax.) .
I could not find a B series used, except for one B2650 with a cab - don't need a cab and that increased the price too much. Seems like many buyers of the B Series hold on to them so I don't see a ton on the used market. There are more BXs, from my experience.

Kubota now offers 6 year warranty. Ask the dealer if he can provide that to close the deal. It never hurts to ask. It's unlikely you will need it anyway and it would be a good show of faith from the dealer.

I was inching towards new at the beginning of next year, but just happened across this one. Sounds like you got a pretty darn good deal though for all that you got with it. I'll ask them if they'll offer any sort of warranty, maybe extend the base warranty? Thanks for your input. I had a gut feeling it was a decent enough deal to consider it, especially after looking at used ones online, but I wanted a little more input than just my gut.

I'd buy it before someone else does.

I just traded in my 1998 B2400 for a 2016 B2650 with 60" mmm and FEL with QA and 60" bucket. It is a very nice tractor, and the 2 horsepower difference feels like much more due to the big increase in torque. I have 2 acres of lawn and it does a very nice job of mowing. I have a couple of steep hills and deep ditches that I mow and this does them in 2wd whereas my B2400 would need 4wd( backing up hill, pulling out of ditch). It feels just as stable on side hills as the other tractor too. I haven't played with the FEL much yet, but the extra height of the bucket made it much easier to drive in steel fence posts for my neighbor!

The 2 acres and steep hills is basically what I'm going to be mowing with it as well. I have a hill in my backyard that gradually increases which causes me fits to mow with the zero turn. I can mow it sideways, turning uphill, but that has left skid marks the length of the hill in my yard. I can mow most of it up and down except the part that barely flattens out before ending in a steep banked creek. I was hoping this machine would make it much easier, especially with the 4wd (at least that's what I told my wife). Besides the 2 acres, as a family we have about 120 acres of mostly farmground with some wooded areas that I hope to be able to plant food plots on and cut paths through the woods. I appreciate everyone's input, I think I'll be getting a great machine. I'll be sure and try to post pictures once I get it.

Went and picked up my new to me B2650 today. So far so good, but is definitely going to take some seat time to get used to it. Already took down a dead tree and some small stumps.

Hopefully I posted the picture right.

Which dealer did you buy this from? There was one in Jasper IN that seemed to fit your description.

I have 4 inch spacers on rear makes the tractor very stable, loaded tires, the tractor is amazing. Cab air, I use it for a lawn mower And for the pasture, BUT I keep it out if the woods. I have a old john Deere I use for that.

Thank you! I'll have to look into those spacers if I start to feel tippy. Thanks for all your information.

Congratulations and I'm envious! Still considering replacing my trusty B7500 and the B2650 is at the top of my list.

I mowed with it Thursday and all I can say is WOW. I have a very steep hill in my backyard that was too much for the zero turn but the B2650 handled it with ease. Went up and down no problem and cuts really really well. My deck on the zero turn was a 44 and with the 60 on the B it didn't take much more time to complete the mowing either. The side hill driving next to the road is going to take some getting used to but other than that it's a dream come true for my yard, and is much more fun to use. I had been complaining to my wife that I risk my life every time I mow the lawn and that I needed something different. I'm glad I found the B2650, It's perfect for what I'll use it for.
