Filter wrench?

Never used one on any of my Kubota's or my trucks or care. I have one of those 5 buck Autozone fits all webbing strap filter wrenches the fit a 3/8" drive ratchet or breaker bar. When changing filters, I poke a hole in the case on the bottom with a small phillips screwdriver to let the contents drain and then remove the filter, less messy that way.
X2 on a strap wrench and it will have other uses too. I bought I sprung for a more expensive one with a metal handle.

I took my new filter to wally world.....and matched up the appropriate one of these, sometimes I need to place a paper towel around it to get a proper perfect grip.

on the bx25 .....you "need" to take off the hood shroud ....but not really if you are careful and use a cup wrench like that one, 3/8" socket- extension.....priceless!

I have those too for stubborn filters. Problem is, they crush the case before they let loose.
That is when you drive a big screw driver in one side and out the other for an instant handle to turn with...

I just got one of these too.
