Never used one on any of my Kubota's or my trucks or care. I have one of those 5 buck Autozone fits all webbing strap filter wrenches the fit a 3/8" drive ratchet or breaker bar. When changing filters, I poke a hole in the case on the bottom with a small phillips screwdriver to let the contents drain and then remove the filter, less messy that way.

I took my new filter to wally world.....and matched up the appropriate one of these, sometimes I need to place a paper towel around it to get a proper perfect grip.

on the bx25 .....you "need" to take off the hood shroud ....but not really if you are careful and use a cup wrench like that one, 3/8" socket- extension.....priceless!:D;)
I just got one of these too. For the few bucks they cost, and the fact they work 10 times better than anything else, should have got one years ago, and would not recommend anything else now.

Thanks to all for the quick reply’s. Just realized my Toyota RAV4 oil filter wrench fits. If it slips I will resort to one of the other suggestions.
