Open station MX5100h. I have habit of leaning on the fender and wearing shorts while operating and looking for suggestions on protecting fenders from sweating forearms and calf's rusting paint/metal. After cleaning and touch up, I'm thinking about clear vinyl wrap. Thoughts?

A good paint should hold up for a while. Mine all have the same wear spots in the paint in high wear areas. I would be concerned with a wrap of contaminants underneath causing corrosion.

Well, a wrap is vulnerable to any type of brush or limbs. Do you ever encounter these?
FWIW, I wash my tractor a few times a year, and I wax it about every 9 months. It takes me about 45 minutes to wash and wax it. If I am wasting my time, it does not add up to much over a year.
I use Griot's (there are other good choices) spray/wipe on Ceramic Wax. Forget about the Ceramic content; the Silane polymers do an incredible job. It is a spray on / wipe off wax, and you should get at least 6 months of protection out of it.
It is safe on any surface, and it does not leave any white residue (not even on rubber or plastic).

3M Paint Protection Film should work. Many new cars and trucks have some where rocks kick up around the rear fenders. I should use some on the Ford where I lean.

I'm in South Louisiana and wear shorts in the warmer months; I'm lazy with poor posture, I never have my shoe on the treadle I use the tip of the treadle for going forward and top of my shoe to lift it up for reverse my calf leans against the right fender and I rest my arm in the formed armrest. I have the same issues with my other tractors and pickup truck doors
