Hello, My first post here!

I've have a B2400 and F3060 keeping up my acreage, and I was fortunate to purchase an F5220 snow blower at the auction last month. It was a formerly with the local municipal fleet. I had to purchase the F5212A quick hitch attachment from the local dealer and it is all connected now, but I am trying to figure out the hydraulix accessory valve to run the motor that rotates the chute.

My F3060 has been a mower only, and does not have the auxiliary valves for other attachments. I want to acquire a joystick valve and add a ram to adjust the angle of the chute.

Here's my question... where does one draw/return hydraulic oil on the F3060. I am fairly certain I have identified the pump (below filter, to which the steering supply is drawn, and which clearly seems to have the pressure bypass. There does seem to be two ports (left and right side) below the pressure relief and main lines. It's not entirely clear which ones I should be using.

I don't have a WSM to reference, but any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks!

To tap into the hydraulics on that unit it's done via a plate on the side of the lift cylinder.
What you think is the hydraulic pump is not, (the hydraulic pump in on the motor behind the Injection pump) that's the HST, do not tap into anything on it or you could cause costly damage!

If you want the kit for the valve which includes all the parts:
P/N K3511-90670

Or you could buy the pipe and adapter plate and make up your own valve setup:
P/N K3511-90612

That's the magic right there. I will see if I can fab my own adapter plate. Good excuse to dust off the mill and lathe. I think the rest is just basic hydraulics.

I am ready for the snow storm! Bring it on.

I tried to fabricate my own pipe and adapter plate. I ended up chasing leaks where I was self-teching myself tig-brazing to join 3/8 hydraulic lines to a home-build adapter plate. Kind of worked, but lots of leaks.

So, I purchased the pipe and adapter plate from Kubota (CAD$195, 3 days delivery) cut the hardlines down, and got hoses built to adapt the 10mm DIN connections on the Kubota pipes to the 3/8" JIC fittings for my valve.

I used a dual valve from Princess Auto, added a motor spool valve, built my own mount, and added a 4" cylinder to actuate the chute height adjustment. 4 quick disconnects, 8 custom hoses, 10 hydraulic fittings, some hose brackets, a bit of scrap steel from the steel bin and some farm-quality welds, and 7 trips to various suppliers, and it might have been cheaper to buy a new tractor!

For the record, my aux hyrdaulics cost about $1000 all up, plus the $750 for the blower at the auction, and $450 for the Quick Hitch... for Under CAD$2,500, I now have I have a skookum blower ready to chooch some blizzard azz!

Sorry Filly... I ain't selling this beauty!
