Extened Warranty

On a ZG227A mower, I was quoted a price of $600 for one year and $1200 for two years. Does anyone have any experience on price as to whether this is standard?

This probably isn't any help whatsoever but, I just bought a three year extended warranty for my L3800 (does not include the FEL) for $1300.

I received a reminder in the mail yesterday that my factory warranty on my B3200 is about to expire. "Call to get your extended warranty today!"

almost 2 years in and less than 60 hours on the machine. I can't see a reason to get one, unless a certain model is known for a certain failure?

I have had no problems with my machine. I do my over-maintenance on it and don't abuse it. It looks like the cost should be less than a tractor, but is not. I think I may wave that cost.
