My BIL has a landscape business that serves just north of portland, cumberland foreside, falmouth foreside and cousins island and he told me a few of his customers have asked that he convert his equipment over to all elect. He said no..lol

I'll bet they would change their tune if the homeowner was required to provide an electrical outlet for the electric leafblower/lawnmower/trimmers, etc. I know, battery vs corded.... still......

Sure thing! There will be a "Green Fee" for gasoline that I use in the generator to keep fresh batteries charged.

I would love to see a cost breakdown for a landscaper for the price of gas for his equipment verse cost to run a generator to charge all his batteries during the day.
A little Honda running a strip of chargers.
Of course the extra cost would be passed on depending on the competition.

While the politicians are on a roll they need to ban city people from moving into the country. Eliminate the problem at it's source. We don't need no parody of the english country estate with lawns wasting good farm land. Won't need push mowers and leaf blowers then.

I don't know about the cost because that varies widely by region. I do know it would be a very inefficient process.
Of course, if the gas powered equipment is very old or not well maintained it is not as efficient as it could be.
