I am a relatively new owner of a B2620 TLB w/@150hrs. on it. After getting it home, I developed a short, whereby the slow-blow fuse burnt out when trying to start it. This happened multiple times until I figured out that the hood post (holds the hood up) touches the glow plug energizer(?) bar at the top of the engine. When the glow plug switch activates, the unit shorts out. Is this common, and is there a way of preventing this in the future? It appears that the post is too long, so I wonder if the hood was replaced before purchase. Any help would be appreciated.
