First time using edge tamers on the FEL to clear the driveway. They really worked great. There is a learning curve for plowing vs. snowblowing but I will get it. I used a blower for the last 18 years and will use it to clean up the edges when I am done but the tractor is a lot more fun for the bulk of it. I had to clear a path for my wife to go to an appt this morning. Def had fun clearing it out. We have about 8 inches on the ground here in central NY - waiting for it to finish snowing before I go get the rest.

I love the FEL and rear blower combination, esp for big snowfalls where there may be frozen banks built up from city plows at the driveway threshold. The edge tamers are a great tool.

I got a set of the Edge Tamers as well. I feel it was money well spent. Not only will they keep my bucket from gouging my driveway but they will be much cheaper to replace when they wear out than would a the bucket itself - and easier, too.

I love my Edge Tamers!
I bought them, and then decided to spend every Winter in Florida.
The edge Tamers are still sitting in the shipping box....1,500 miles North of me!
What is not to like about Edge Tamers?

Big fan of mine, when I can get a rear blade I think it will be the perfect combo for my property.

You should probably sell them to me and simplify your life. :)

I'm kinda too old to bother selling stuff.

I have plenty of stuff that needs to be sold- Dr. buggy, Ford loader forks, 2 extra rear blades, Troy Bilt tiller, new 21"Toro mower, new 60" KK tiller, new 60" KK box blade, 2- 15 Hp outboards, bee hives, Maxant powered honey extractor, shop jointer, shop planer, new DeWalt Unisaw, commercial airless sprayer outfit, 12 Hp Gravely mower, 6 oversize cork goose decoys, etc. etc.,
...... but it is just too much trouble to sell the stuff.

Sold my 1997 Suburban K2500 4x4 last Fall though for $9,500, and the buyer was delighted.
454 V-8, 130K, never driven in snow.

Sold my dad's cherry 1981 VW 5 spd. diesel pickup with 65K mi. too.

A little progress, but my kids will have plenty left to dispose of.
Hope they don't sell my cherry 1,100 Hr. Ford 1920 FEL, or my prized under 260 Hr. Kubota L48 TLB.

Farm auctions are not ever held in my area. Just too urbanized now.

Thanks for the pic. Could not imagine what edge tamers are for FEL because it already has edges. I use FEL and back blade: 17 years. A couple times, I wished for the old Gravely square chute snow blower because the snow was quite deep and required LOTS of scoops and dumps off to side with FEL.

With my Quahog shell surface driveway, EdgeTamers are a must, or there would be shells all over the lawn come Spring.

I also love my Edge Tamers. I have a partial gravel driveway that the edge tamers work perfect on. Not one piece of gravel in the lawn. I also have a wiener dog that needs a bathroom on the lawn and the edge tamers allow me to remove the snow and not touch a blade of grass or piece of dirt. A must have for me..

they're supposed to be on ONE edge, not both EDGES...
the name is EDGE after all not EDGES tamers....;)
