Regardless of which type of extinguisher you have, add some electrical tape with a pull tab on the nozzle.

I found my nozzle clogged with a Dirt Dauber nest.
Not a bad idea if you leave your tractor outside, or live in an area where dirt daubers are very active.

I found my nozzle clogged with a Dirt Dauber nest.
The huge aerospace plant I worked at had dozens of fire extinguishers stored outside on equipment pads, electrical substations, LN2 pads, fenced enclosures for materials, chemicals, and such.
After finding some plugged by dirt daubers, we bought a selection of small corks and corked them all.
Testing revealed that they easily popped out when fired, and we even added checking the corks to the monthly extinguisher inspection tours.
They probably would not stay in place on a moving vehicle like a tractor, but they worked great for stationary units.
