Drive over deck w/catcher?

I have a BX 2370-1 with the regular deck and use the Kubota catcher on the back. So not too sure what the difference is with the drive over deck compared to the one you have to install.
Do you have to drive forward when removing the deck or back up,to remove it.{I imagine you back up] the pto shaft that runs the blower/catcher is the rear pto shaft so I really don't know why it shouldn't work. You do have to add a couple of extra frame mounts on the rear of the tractor to mount the blower to , but I can't see why that would affect the mounting of the deck etc: Sure would be interesting to know what the reason is.
