2002 BX2200 / Will it be okay to unplug the factory lighting harnesses under the tank shroud and do away with all the haphazard fixtures dangling off my tractor? I believe there are engine management systems that share power with other systems and I don’t want to get into trouble with start and fuel issues as a result. I spend a lot of time in tight places and underbrush and it really tears up the lights and I never work at night so they’re just in the way.

The rear lights on my LX2610 are connected with bullet connectors and disconnecting them wouldn't impact any other functions of the tractor. Not sure if the BX wiring is the same but I would expect it would be similar.

My BX23S has 'bullet' connectors, you gotta unplug them to get the tank out.
If you do remove them, put 'blank' ones in amd tape over, to keep dirt, water, etc. out incase you want to rewire later on( say in selling it ?).

The BX series is pretty unique in that it shares a couple of sust
