I just joined after lurking here for a bit :).

I just bought a 2019 BX2380 wit QC FEL, Grass catcher and the MM 60” deck. Brought it all home tonight on the trailer.

Total cost pre-tax was $18200CAD/$13600USD. It had 19 hrs and an in service date of May 2019 in mint condition.

Was this a good deal for this package?

For comparison I bought a BX2680 with the same loader, 54" MMM and K drive system with a 54" Commercial F/M Snowblower for 19,800.Can with "0" hours. That was in Nov. 2017.

Seems like a really good deal.

Unless I'm mistaken if you build your exact specs the retail is almost exactly 20K on the kubota builder site.

I think thats 32% off??

I agree with TicTock. Sounds really good. Curious since you already bought it what were going to say if everyone said you got a P**P** deal? Lol

Well, I knew it’s not that bad but was hoping to see some other numbers for comparison.

My dealer told me I saved a couple of grands from his bottom line on a brand new package.

Today I played around with a bit and had a hard time peeling myself away from it lol. Moved a ton of dead branches and some trunks already.

That’s a smoking deal man! Was the MSRP lower on ‘17s?

The current difference in MSRP between 23 and 26 is CAD $1500. Your mower is probably just a few hundred cheaper I think. No idea on the blower but the grass catcher was MSRP about $2k+.

MSRP on the commercial blower and K drive is around 5400.

True, it’s just at $20k USD with my config. And I believe the USD MSRP is actually a good few hundreds cheaper than up here when converted even with very generous exchange rate, which is on par for Canadian MSRPs.

Well you got a great deal that’s for sure. When I tried this year the best I was being offered was around 8-9% off for a non-finance deal.

Who’s your purchasing dealer if I may ask?

Yup thats a killer deal. Just picked up mine (2019 new) with the same setup without the grass catcher for just under $16K. And that was the best deal out of 4 dealers close to me in PA.

I always chuckle at questions like this, after the purchase has been made.

It always reminds me of the other question, asked by a parent of an ugly kid, do you think my baby is cute ? LOL

So, do I. A 'good deal' is only in the eyes of the buyer. A good deal for the buyer may be a poor deal for someone else.

I base my tractor purchases not only on price but on the selling / servicing dealer as well. I 'good price' and a bad dealer when it comes to any dealer service can turn a good deal into a nightmare.

With me, I don't shop around for price as much as I look at the dealer, my relationship with them and how things will pan out down the road.

^This for sure!

I didnt even shop around when I bought my last 2 tractors. The dealer I have has been nothing short of amazing! It would NOT be worth it to me, to give that up to save a few hundred bucks (let's face it, that's all we'd be talking about here).

The dealer in the transaction means everything. Just look at some of the more recent posts from those who have bought a tractor with a terrible dealer!
