deck pulley cover removal zd1011

have just bought a new zd1011 zero turn mower and am having trouble removing the deck pulley cover on the throttle side for cleaning/greasing...feel a little stupid asking such a simple task but has me confounded!!??

it's got a lever on the back side/top of the cover. Put your finger behind the lever, and pick up on it. It'll pop loose of the hook. Then move the cover toward the front, and upward-it should just fall off.

thanks but that is what happens on the other side but only with great difficulty. The throttle side ie. right side while sitting in seat can be unclipped but not removed as it is impeded by the rail of the deck.There are pop out grommets in the top of covers for greasing but unable to remove cover...there is also a gap in the sidewall of the cover which i am using to blow out debris as i cannot remove cover
