I was looking for a front mount blower for my B2650 other than what Kubota has listed, the 2782.
I had a loaner for a winter and wasn’t impressed with the build and performance vs my LP pto SB1064.
I looked over the LX series blowers as they are built much heavier like the Land Pride.
The only issue was finding a dealer to sell me one after I told them what it was getting installed on. 3 dealers all said the LX series would not mount up.
After finding a dealer that sold me a unit in the crate, I mounted up the 2940 sub frame and 2941 driveline kit with the LX2980 blower with ease. No modifications needed. The B and LX have the same frame. well it’s the same tractor.
I also had 2 hoses made up and picked up a hydraulic cylinder from Dalton Hydraulics for my third valve for a chute deflector. The Kubota deflector kit with diverter valve was around $1200 Vs $250 ish for my set up.

Sometimes it hard to find a dealer that thinks outside the factory build sheets.
