No, the TSB are just done before they leave the dealership.
But this is exactly what GreensvilleJay meant. Why don't they do it straight away instead of selling the tractor that the customer expects to collect straight away and then telling him after the purchase: "sorry you have to wait a few days because we have to do repairs on the new tractor".

I've bought four Kubota tractors over the past nine years and NEVER taken a tractor home the day I paid for it. I've waited a week or more, and even a month for the MX6000 that I currently have.

I would imagine that a lot of dealers are busy assembling tractors from crates, doing service work, prepping tractors that have been sold, or doing repair work for customers. Customers who have tractors in for repair or service are going to want their tractor back asap. If I were scheduling the work load I'd focus on the knowns rather than the unknowns. Once a tractor is sold it becomes a known, but sitting on the lot unsold it's not a priority. Perhaps not the ideal situation but the reality of having to keep multiple balls in the air.

When I ordered this tractor I was in no hurry. I wanted them to take their time and get me a machine that worked properly. That old saying still goes, Haste makes waste. What I got back was a very quality machine that will serve me well for a long time. Thank you Ginops.

I bought a L2502 first back in January, the dealer tried doing the timing adjustment, but the tractor never ran right, they took it back and I waited a few months to get a machine that had the newer version motor.

Some times dealer dont give the customer the whole story, now had they told you there was a TSB on it and they were not legally permitted to take care of it until it was bought, Im sure that might have raised an eyebrow as well. But at least you would have had the whole story

When I was looking for my tractor, only one dealer was honest about the cold start issue, so that is the dealer I bought from.
