Our school system is failing to teach our kids.

It's not just the kids. This bag of night lights at our church garage sale was marked by someone who graduated many years before the current crop of teachers came on board.

Got your PM...

For everyone else out there...

I WAS WRONG!
YEP I ADMIT IT.

I have been set straight and It will never happen again!
LOL. That was NOT the objective. The objective was to inform, and only that.

Ah, that's how we learn. Good on @North Idaho Wolfman for admitting he was incorrect, I think more of a person for admitting it than not, because in the end we all should be on the same team helping each other.

Saw a billboard yesterday, said "Word Famous" IIRC it was a restaurant ... Guess they couldn't afford the "L"!

I once walked into a business where the offices were a mess. They had a sign posted:
Please excuse our mess!

We are in the mist of redecorating!

I guess that's kind of like the fog of war, only not quite so serious.

Years ago I was in Ecuador and the place didn't allow toilet paper to be flushed. There was a small wicker basket for used paper and they had someone take it out and burn it daily.
Actually, I have been in a few countries where that is the norm. Septic systems will go almost forever without maintenance if nothing but human waste is flushed down. No paper, no garbage disposal, nothing but pee and poop.

Yeah but I consider human excrement "waste"! They don't want it in the toilet apparently, or they don't have a very good command of the English language!

So why bother with the toilet? Just use the trash can??? 😂

We've been having trouble at one of our pumping stations. Someone isn't paying attention to the notices we have been sending. Only partially joking I said we need to send a note with the quarterly billing - "If you didn't eat it, don't flush it".

We've been seeing all sorts of rags, wipes and even gloves cause problems with our pumps. A few pics below show some of the recent trophies. While the wipes are "flushable" as stated on the package, many aren't easily handled by the pumping stations and treatment plant. Used motor oil is "flushable" but we certainly don't want that coming through either. Unfortunately it's almost impossible to trace the debris to the guilty user / users.

The puppy bowl is often times way more interesting than the superbowl. But, I'll tell you what... Have you ever run across the Lingerie Football League? I mean, holy crap...
But, seriously, beyond the obvious, these chicks are really playing. I saw some pretty big hits that really looked like they hurt.
