Hello.
I have a low hours D850 engine in the garage. i always thought it would be 18/19 hp, according to searches online. It came off a rice harvester but no idea which in order to reassure myself. It has clear casting of "855cc" on the engine side. Now I am reading about the B1502 model and it had a D850 rated at 14 hp? Where these engines de-rated in this model or I am confusing things?

Anyone who is into rice harvester data and such and would point me into the rice harvester model that a D850 would have likely been used on? (it is a thermosyphon engine)

thanks

The thremo siphon model was in the 18 HP range.
The water pump model was higher in the 20 HP range.
I have both engines along with a D750 and a D950, and I really have a hard time noticing any difference in working HP off of any of these engines.

If your getting your HP info off of the Tractor Data sight, they are know for being a little off on some info.
I'll bet that that number is PTO HP which falls in line with all the other specs that you see for similar Engine tractor combinations.
