i need to remove the crank gear on my d750 my manual shows a special puller being used which i dont have in my tool box. does anyone have any experience removing this gear without the special puller in the repair manual?thanks in advance
i guess i cried b4 i was cut! the gear came off without a special puller .so far i havent really needed any special tools. just got crankshaft out no problems just an update my blowby issue has turned expensive bad rings and 3 broken pistons so it looks like rings pistons and bearings. back to the machine shop for more pain, anyway thanks for the all the info and sharing your knowledge this is the first time i have ever worked on a diesel.costly but kinda fun
