I've searched and can't find the answer. What is the operating coolant temperature for a D1105-T with a 71*C thermostat? What temperature is considered overheating?

71*C is about 160*F, so I'd consider 180 ok, but 200 to be a 'concern'.
Whatever machine it's in, the operators manual should have chart or list of what is acceptable.

Overheating is generally considered the temperature at which the coolant begins to boil.
With a 50/50 EG coolant mix the base boiling point is 225F. In a pressurized system that temperature goes up 3F for every pound of pressure. With a 14 PSI radiator cap the boilng temperature is approximately 270F.

If it's got a 71*C thermostat, that should be it's operating temperature.
That's what I was thinking but wanted to confirm. Converting to Fahrenheit and per the workshop manual the thermostat starts to open at 158*-162* and is fully open at 185*.
And engine coolant temperature will be higher depending on ambients, engine load, and where you measure it.
