I am rebuilding a d-902 and have a question about the flywheel installation.

This motor is out of a zd-323 mower. I have a manual and it shows an alignment mark on the rear end plate. The motor only has a rear end plate on one side but not the other where the manual shows the alignment mark.

I have the #1 piston at tdc, but do not know where to line up the marks on flywheel since I cant find the alignment mark the manual calls for.

Can anybody shed some light on this for me?

Thank you in advance.

The flywheel can only go on the crank one way there is no marks to line up.
The bolt holes are set up to align it, one is spaced different then the others.
Put the flywheel on the crank and rotate it till all the holes line up, and hand thread all the bolts in then tighten. ;)
