CT Attachments Grapple?

Hi all! Had my first orange tractor (B2601) delivered last Thursday. I've already decided I need a grapple for it. I've seen plenty of posts already that have turned me away form the Land Pride grapples. I like the EA grapple, but am turned off by the 6 week lead time and the shipping costs. I've found a guy within a two hour drive that also makes grapples.

My question to you guys and gals, has anyone used these or heard anything about CT Attachments? If not, how does this guys grapples look strength and build wise? He told me they are around 320 pounds it is a little heavier than the EA grapple.

It will never work...it's green.

One glaring point would be the front cylinder grease zerk...That will last about 10 min, should have used a grease pin.

With no shielding over the cylinder and the seal pointed towards the pile, it's going to get damaged, good grapples shield the seals.

Also with no shield and the cylinder connections just out there they are going to get popped too, on top and pointed up are both bad combinations.

No cross bracing on the back puts a lot of strain on the loader arms.

Posted in your other thread that looking at the website, he builds for JD use and JD has a proprietary attachment and to won't work with your Bobcat style 2 pin quick attach. If you look at the top of the grapple, you'll see the JD style attachment bracket.

...and it's green too.

Besides, Landpride is owned by Kubota now so why not keep it all Kubota?

I will have to resize them in the future, sorry about that. Thanks for all the input thought, I'll have to look at EA's and see what there's looks like. Do you have a grapple?

That's just a picture he had on the sight, he does make some with the skid steer quick attach now.

ALSO, when i talked to him I asked him about color, he paints them black now! That was a big question I had for him!

I called this guy and he never returned my call so I bought Everything Attachments grapple. Good luck. Oh yea I was buying for green paint too.

Made my own:
Had a friend use a CNC Plasma table, he cut all the parts, I welded them all together, then took it back to him and he powder coated it.

I did the same thing but I own the plasma table., then I turned around and sold it to the farmer down the road. need to make another one...someday when I get the time and the ambition.
