I have a B2150 with turf tyres fitted and the drive shaft to the front axle removed, so it's running in 2WD only.

I want to get it working in 4WD and fit R1 tyres on all four corners.

The workshop manual I have makes several different suggestions as to tyre sizes and it's not something I want to get wrong.

Could someone who owns a 4WD B2150 please tell me the size of R1 tyres that they have front and rear so I can go shopping for replacement wheels & tyres.

BTW - if you're parting out a B2150 I'd like to buy the drive shaft (or just one of the yokes) which runs between transmission and front axle.

Thank you
Shane

I've just taken another look at my B2150 and find that the turf tyres fitted are marked :

Front 165/80/R12

Rear 275/70/R16

I think this means I have a 12" wheel at the front and 16" wheel at the back.

The front wheel looks like normal width for an ag tyre, but the rear looks very wide (hence the 275).

The tractor sits low at the back compared to the front, so I suspect the rear turf tyres are much lower profile than a standard ag tyre.

So far, I think I can fit ag tyres to the front & rear without replacing the wheels, except that the rear ag tyre might need to be wider than usual.

Opinions from all and sundry are invited.
