Control Lever Weatherstripping

Hi, Does anyone have an idea on how I can insulate under the plastic pieces that cover the control levers? I have a cab and in the winter cold air comes right through both sides plus any snow tha'ts thrown off tires. Was hoping someone came up with a solution.

Get some hair style weatherstripping that is used on aluminum store front. Would slow the wind / snow.
