clicking noise when pto activated

I have a 2008 BX2350 and have a clicking noise when the pto is activated. I pulled the pto cover and no teeth are missing on the gear and the bearing looks good. Any suggestions on what is making the clicking noise

Does it make the noise with pto shaft disconnected? Could be a dry u joint on pto shaft. If it makes it with out anything attached, then the only thing that comes to mind is a bearing fixing to go, or fluid level a little low

Or possibly a pin or bolt backed out causing it to contact a moving part as it rotates around
