HI Tractor folks,

I am trying to find a place to buy a clean out bucket for my BX23S Kubota... I had found the same one is seen on another post at tractorattachments.ca however they are sold out until December possibly. Can anyone direct me to a place in Canada that sells Clean out style buckets?

Sorry if there is another thread likes this .. but i was unable to find it.

Thanks so much,

Stacy

you could unbolt the teeth, makes a 12" cleanout bucket......
That is kinda what I did for mine, only it wasn't as simple as unbolting the teeth.

Yes i realize that.. and I may end up doing that .. I could buy another bucket and weld on a cutting edge... I was hoping i could just have 2 buckets with the clean out bucket wider. Kicking myself in the behind for not ordering the Tractorattachments.ca before they sold out.

If anyone knows of any other Canadian sites that sell aftermarket attachments ..i would love to know about them :)

Thank you

Maybe see if Kubota has a 16" bucket in stock. Bet it's kinda pricey though.....
Messick's has a 16" Kubota bucket on E-Bay for $1,100 USD plus tax and shipping.
Not suggesting to by from Messick's, but as a comparison that would be $1,400 CAD, plus HST, plus shipping from somewhere.
A mighty pricey little bucket.
I can buy buy a new 16" bucket, for $978 USD (-$49 for credit card cash back points) shipping incl., and no tax,..... (net. $929).
I have been procrastinating, because I think that is WAY too expensive, for something I want, but don't need!

man those prices are obscene for what it is....especially when the parts are CNC cut, robowelded together and a 'lick of paint'
maybe I'm getting grumpy at 69,but I remember a friend making his '10" cleanout bucket' 4 decades ago when we built his shop, only took him 1/2 day to fab from 'this and that', dug 300' perimeter of shop, 4' deep...

Ah yes, but 4 decades ago a litre of gasoline was probably less than 20 cents CAD.

It depends on where you live!
Quebec, and the Atlantic provinces, control the price of gasoline.
