Does anyone know where in america a fella could order a set of these things? they're intended for rice paddy farming, but haha, that's pretty close to what I do during the wet season!

not just these, but anything to fit a 13.6-16 turf rim that has a little more tread??? I don't want to change out all 4 rims and tires... and I wanted to add that I do have a set of chains, but I really don't like them, it's hard to find chains to fit this big baloon turf tires right and the ones I have are really close but do fall off periodically... which as you can imagine, isn't good for blades on the ol finish mower.

You could get a set of these:
12.4-16

Or you would have to get another set of rims, but I run 13.5 x 16.1 tires on mine.

ha, yeah I need something like that though, I take some wild rides down our hill when I mow and the dew is still on the ground or too soon after a rain... bummer is, my pond is at the bottom of the blueberry hill and it's pretty darn deep hahaha, closest I've come yet is about 4 feet from the edge before it stopped...

so, I really want something that will get traction, but I have those little lawn mower size tires on the front of mine.... I'd LOVE to find someone who wanted turf rims and had ag rims!

The problem with 2WD is you don't have front brakes - what you need when you're charging downhill. 4WD gives you all 4 braking. Ag tires might help steering around the side of the pond, however. Keep an eye on Craigs List - mounted AG tires do show up occasionally.

Gpreuess - yep, I do wish I had 4x4 I have experienced the real need for front braking quite a bit, but barring that, the best thing I can do is try to get a little more tread on the rear tires so it'll stop! I don't even have a differential lock and really wish I did! I do still slide even with other tractors I have used out there, but my big MF65 doesn't slide at all due to weight. I think with some ag tires and some fluid, I'd be ok out there on that hill. When I completely raise my finish mower, it will usually stop me from sliding, but then I'm not mowing grass haha

Crippler- can you tell me what brand yours are?

Crippler, nevermind I could read it in your picture! Should have known they would be Carlisle, best tires I ever got for my ATV were carlisle "security" tires....
