When replacing the seal do I need to pull the housing to tap it out or can I get it done simply by pulling it from the outside and replacing it.

take the wheel off, pull the seal out, replace the seal, put the wheel back on. it takes about 30 min total.....al
Got the seal for $7.95 at local kubota dealer.
Had to remove the brake cover to get the seal off but was all done in less than 30 minutes.
