Could someone help me out on where to tap into the cooling system to hook up

Yes that's the way it would work.

If you want them switched on and off with the key, then power wire from the Battery + to a relay under the dash controlled by the key.

I looked my wiring diagram over, and Im stealing a "trigger" for a relay that will power all my cab stuff. Ran 10g wire from battery to NO of heavy duty relay. It feeds my fuse block in my overhead heater/control box. Think it was the HST switch, its hot only when key is on.
