My BX2360 has the same thing. Sticks can get up in there pretty easily. I would still consider an aftermarket skid plate.
Given the history, its too bad Kubota didn't improve that feature on the '80 series.

I do have a BXpanded skid plate.
Good choice. I have that one, but really wanted the bro-tek one. Just figured I didn't need anything during mowing season.

Thanks for posting that picture. I was wondering if Kubota would change anything on the new models.

Did this one replace another BX?

Yes, Sir. It replaced a 2370 which was a fine machine. I'm getting to the age where easier is better and the drive over deck and easy on/off loader not to mention a few more horsepower convinced me to upgrade. Keeping up with a 6 acre landscaped yard is one of the things that I figure will help keep me healthy after I retire. Still several years off. Thanks, Ed B
