Howdy all,

After a search on this forum and the net, I am still at a lost.

I use my 2013 BX2660 commercially, and having a folding ROPS would be better for working under trees (mowing, aeration, etc).

So, I am looking for a folding ROPS.

I tried Femco, but they are no help.

Any suggestions for either a Kubota or aftermarket solution?

Thanks,

Don

Go to your Kubota and order a SFBX-F267 folding ROPS. BX23/2670 should have the same bolt pattern as your 60 series. I would look at the pivot point and see how much clearance you would actually gain.

The 70 series has a folding ROPS. Same bolt pattern, but what I found was that the lights are mounted to the ROPS and would be a pain to remove and remount, as I think you'd have to rewire, etc. The price is what got me. In Indiana, it was going to cost 4-500 to get the folding version. Not worth it to me.

Maybe you could get lucky and find someone local with a BXxx70 that doesn't need the folding ROPs and would be willing to trade for a much lesser price than 400. Someone with tall garage doors and maybe a cab so they don't need or want to ever put down the ROPs. I have never had my ROPs down, but I am in northern Michigan and my homemade cab is attached to the ROPs anyway.
