I know my left front axle leaks so I put some 90weight in last week and all of a sudden a giant puddle formed beneath it…could I have overfilled and the oil expanded and blew out the “vent” wherever that is?

There is a breather plug on the top of each side, and if not removed during filling, air cannot escape and heat/expansion can cause more oil to drip out via the seals due to pressure buildup.

Oops! Didn’t know the breather plugs had to be removed! I hope that’s all it was!

You could just replace the failed seal and be done with it.

I discovered a “leaky hydraulic hose” that is U-shaped where the metal lines are stuffed between the loader frame. I’ll see if the hose fittings are loose and go from there.
