Hi all,

I was working on wiring my rops lights. I can't get them on. Used tester, nothing (black to red or black to red / blue.)

When I wire direct to battery they work fine.

Is there an inline fuse on the aux line?

I checked fuse panel, all the 15s are good.

I didn't realize the work light was on the 20amp fuse. That was blown.

Now all fuses are good.

However the light only work with the heavier gauge wire. (Always on.)

I can't the lights to work with the smaller gauge wire.

Any thoughts?

Which smaller wire?
The circuit is powered when the IGN SW is ON

Red/Black, 20A fuse, circuit good for approx 15A, work lights
Red/Blue, 10A fuse, circuit good for approx 8A, DC outlet

This may sound stupid but the key must be on for the auxiliary connection to work

Ok, I was an idiot. I must have Misread some info. Both the 20a and 10a fuses were blown.

Seems like the 20a is always on. Thanks for the quick response.
