Any experiences of the Landpride WC1503 vs the Bearcat CH45540 wood chippers? My dealer can get both. The Bearcat has a $500 rebate, but I can finance the Landpride.

Also the Landpride model looks very much like the Wallenstein BX32s. Are they functionally the same. The pictures and specs are very close.

Hi I purchased the Wallenstein BX52 and run it with my Bx2660, I originally ordered the BX32 which is supposed to be the correct one for my BX but when you factor in all the bends in the branches I'm really happy I ordered the 52. I suppose if i was chipping 5" wood all day it would work a really hard but for the most part I have no problem. Hope this helps with your decision Barry

what's the price for the Landpride chipper? The prices for other two models are listed on their websites.

What size tractor (min) hp does it need, the specs say up to 40, just wondering if my L2501 would drive it.

Decent price.. Have you used it much?

I purchased this one
http://www.palletforks.com/titan-bx42-wood-chipper.html?gclid=CNTy1-XMj84CFUeUfgodZngDiQ.

It was $1450 before a first time buyer discount of 10%. Bottom line was $1299.51 with free shipping.

Worth a look. It doesn't do a great job with very small branches (pencil size) but it has done most of what I need it to do. I have chipped 4" with it.

I'd still look at the Woodmaxx:
1) Works on the BX2200 or a larger tractor
2) Hydraulic infeed with reversing motor allows you to speed up, slow down, reverse or stop the feed rate of branches depending on their diameter and available pto power.
3) Four cutting knives.
4) 125 lb flywheel.
5) Hopper hinges inward for easy transport, and a smaller storage footprint
6) While it weighs in at ~ 600 lbs, due to the fold up compact design, it can be easily rolled around on a dolly over a concrete floor, easing 3pt hookup.
7) Will chip a 6 inch oak limb, assuming you don't want it for firewood.

I would read the reviews at http://www.palletforks.com/titan-bx42-wood-chipper.html. I've chipped the branches of 5 russian olive trees so far, many more to go. I'm happy with it considering what I have to work with. I could use another 10 pto HP but who can't. 2" to 3" branches are no problem. 4" has to be fed in a foot at a time.

I would think all the other chippers would be the same considering my pto HP.
